The ITC Maurya Golf Bar; great spirits!

Inside the ITC Maurya in New Delhi, a bar with an Irish touch awaits you! The hotel d'maitre are dressed in Scottish hats! And with a delectable choice of spirits these smart lads ensure a good evening with great service and hospitality!

As typical as a bar can be, you will not get anything to eat here as this is only a drinks only bar, a popular concept from the origins of bars in Scotland and England. So don't go looking or asking for a "food menu"! They do not keep one!

Single malts line the bar and some noticeable ones I know included Laphroaig, Lagavulin, Talisker, Glenlivet 12, 15, 18 and its cousin Glenlivet! The blended scotches are aplenty. Naming them all is a hassle. One rather noticeable rum that I was saw the Mount Gay made in Barbados! A small swig at it and I found it to be a fine fragrant aromatic spirit, perfect to spend with on a Hawaiian beach!

Cointreau, Hendricks, Pettercairn, Cardhu 12, so on and so forth! Interesting! A pretty damn good collection of spirits!

Devendra, the new lad at the bar is a smart kind courteous kid! Does a great job! The bar tender Mr Mahinder, a rather talkative man, does a decent job on the other side of the bar! At times he receives personal calls and gets a little vocal which is rather irritating.

The music is contemporary rock and a typical bar! My kind of place! No techno, no bright lights! The reminiscence of the 70's and 80's! Bingo! I was home!
