Chef Salvatore Salis is the latest addition to the famous Prego @ Westin Gurgaon. As we all know this is the destination for Italian cuisine and for the lovers of Italian food ,Chef Salis is all set to take it to the next level.
Hailing from Sardinia in Italy, Salvatore always loved food. He decided to put his money where his mouth is- making his passione his carriera! (try saying it with an Italian accent) 
Known in his circles as a bit of a protégé, in just 10 years Chef Salis has gained the distinction of working in places like the famed The Romanos Resort in Greece and many such avant garde luxury properties in Europe. What’s more- his experience goes beyond just being in the trenches in culinary warfare; he has the entire array of operations in his repertoire from designing Menus to quality control. His precise expertise lies in cost control which leads to efficient running of the kitchen- achieving better safety besides improved health and hygiene. So now Prego is the place for you to try Italian for more reasons than just great food. 
Not just that Salvatore is known for refining Italian cuisine for the more gourmet patrons with a taste for the finer things in life. He actually was a consultant for coming up with a concept Italian restaurant The Village in the famed Doha. In his last job he was the Chef de Cuisine at Gecko Lipe Resort, Koh Lipe Thailand.
