Sandal Suites By Lemon Tree Hotels- Review

 It’s the day and age of airbnb , conventional hotel stays with their restrictive air are not the choice of stay for many people.  For most holidays and even extended stays while relocating ,service apartments are the answer. . And when a popular hotel brand is associated with apartments then one can be assured of quality too .

Sandal Suites is managed  by Lemon Tree Hotels and curious me decided to unwind over a weekend at this property. Artful interiors  impart a feel of luxury to the interiors. There’s a huge lawn with adjoining banquet spaces which can either be a great wedding venue or even the perfect getaway for a corporate team building exercise.We checked into our spacious suite and were greeted with view of verdant expanse from our windows and that was just what the soul needed.  White and beige with just the pop of Orange made for a cheery yet elegant room .Since these are apartments are meant for extended and comfortable stays, the room featured a small kichenette with a microwave , a refrigerator and also a dining area If that wasn’t enough, guests have the option of getting the freshest vegetables or grocery supplies delivered to the room.With a gym, a rooftop swimming pool , children’s room -that my kids occupied for several hours ,  I was already lauding myself for the choice of venue.

While the kids went berserk in the children’s room, their mom and dad decided to get pampered at Kiyomi Spa.Spotlessly clean, pleasant well trained therapists and a compact menu of therapies- this one is a must while staying at Sandal Suites.

With Lemon Tree at the helm of affairs  their Citrus Cafe is part of the property too. What’s a vacation without indulgence , and hence Citrus saw a lot of  me. While most of the menu remains unchanged , Chef  Gaurav Mallick does put in his stamp  with some interesting fare. Don’t miss the 3 Tomato Risotto - creamy and luscious,tomato clementine soup, and Aloo Bukhara Kofta somehow I can never have enough of koftas and this one was impressively nutty. Speaking of nutty they also  have a decadent Apple Nut Pie that will delight every dessert lover.

Food, service, Ambience and Location- Sandal Suites ticks all boxes to facilitate a comfortable indulgent stay!
