Summer Menu at Hyatt Regency, Delhi

Summers usher in light and sunshine and also a host of fruits and vegetables that are every weight watcher’s delight. As the mercury soars , digestion slows down and  it’s only natural to gravitate towards salads and light food. Whoever said healthy needs to be boring definitely hasn’t tasted the food at The Hyatt Regency ,Delhi . To beat the heat and keep one in shape, Hyatt  Regency Delhi manages to mix flavor with health in an explosive combination that will transport you to gastronomic heaven.

The 1st dish to arrive from the summer menu curated by Chef Abhishek Singh were the Balsamic Marinated Vegetables ,paper thin slices of an array of colourful vegetables from zucchini, to beet root and even cucumber perched on a black plate. All this was drenched in a balsamic vinegar dressing  and sprinkled with Himalayan rock salt that turned it into a zesty  affair. Roughly cut chunks of mango and papaya interspersed with fresh blueberries and garnished with microgreens , this is the Mango and Papaya Salad .Sweetness of papaya, tanginess of mango and the slightly tart blue berries , all of these  flavor combine  together tantalizingly. This is drizzled with a chilli sauce that imparts the right punch and doesn’t spoil the balance of flavours.

Also on the offering are Cous cous Salad and Caponata both of which are healthy as well as satiating. Infact the cous cous salad could be a meal on its own , If one doesn’t want to pig out on the other delicious offerings.

Apart from the summer menu, the all day dining menu has been revamped. The menu now offers a delectable Indian fare , Pasta , salad and an assortment of grilled goodies. I especially loved the creamy thick Dal Amritsari and the breads that they make are so innovative and delicious. The next time you dine there don’t miss the Multigrain seed and the Basil Pesto Naan. The dessert counter churned up some delicious Apple Crumble, my all time favourite  . It was so good that I didn’t feel like leaving.
Go and experience all this for yourself at Hyatt Regency , Delhi. It starts at INR 1835 + taxes per person
