There’s a new excuse to visit Story at Westin, Gurgaon and it is the new range of cocktail menu .The aim is to delight connoisseurs with a signature cocktail menu , specially crafted by the immensely talented Jitender Singh using fresh seasonal and natural inputs and flavours of the land.
So what is it really? Getting down to the brass tacks- the specific offering at Westin Gurgaon include a whole of eight cocktails namely the Pomegranate Green Tea, Whiskey Punch, Chamomile Mule, Monk’s Sapphire and some more…we don’t want to give everything away. Oh, if you thought there’s nothing for teetotallers- you’re wrong. There are some amazing mocktails like Granny Julep, Pine is Mine and Aambi. This menu can be tried at one of the signature restaurants at The Westin Gurgaon and The Westin Sohna Resort and Spa.
The lovely local concoctions available are Chai Experiments- which is created by infusion of vodka with a particular type of Chai Masala along with spices for one to two weeks and Monk’s Sapphire- which is specially crafted by infused old monk with cucumber slices for a whole week. In case of the Chai Experiment there’s Cinnamon, Cardamom, Star Anise, Mace as spices which are stirred and blended with amaretto, grand mariner and angostura bitter. This is designed to go with local taste and is served on the rocks. The Monk’s Sapphire is crafted in such a way that the bitterness of rum is minimised and compensated with a refreshing and light flavour- along with cucumber slices there is sugar syrup, lemon juice and a dash of rhubarb bitters.
