Continuing my engagement with Starwood I got
to visit another great property which is just a stone’s throw from Gurgaon-
Four Points by Sheraton New Delhi, Airport Highway. It was on the 05th
of August 2016, when this Hotel along with 40 other Four Points across Asia
Pacific celebrated the International Beer Day!
This festival started in 2007 is celebrated
on the first Friday of August- the occasion honours beer brewers and gives the
lovers of fresh brew another chance to enjoy it with some great company. This
is also a precursor to the month long Oktoberfest which is just over a month
away. The Hotel has taken beer drinking to another level
with “Beerista” to spearhead their best brews program. As a part of this
program the guests get to enjoy the choicest of local craft beer and the
Beeristas will ensure that good quality brew becomes a familiar experience for
patrons.
The day coincided with the opening ceremony
of the Olympics and Four Points Airport Highway GM Manoj Thapa mentioned that
this festival is a good way to celebrate the occasion.
The event was an evening of good beer paired
with some great food to go with it- and everyone in attendance just loved the
experience. The Hotel not only served their signature beer as a part of the
Best Brews Program but also had some other international beers to go with them.
Like I
mentioned, the property is not only conveniently located both for the people of
Delhi and Gurgaon. There are all of 70 guest rooms and suites and 800 square
meters of space for business meeting. This is also the perfect venue for some
great weddings, has three meal restaurants and sports a state of the art
fitness centre.
