AmPm Cafe arrives in the millenium city

I vividly remember my 1st visit to AMPM cafe at Rajouri Garden. We were exhausted and annoyed by the time we reached the cafe courtesy the nightmarish drive during rush hour . However the live band, the vibes of the place and most importantly the food melted my fatigue away. Hence it was only natural for me to be excited about the arrival of this brand in Gudgawan. To my pleasant surprise they steered clear of the maddening and jaded sec 29 market and instead arrived  at Galleria. This one has the same laid back , relaxed vibes of its West Delhi counterpart and expectedly the huge sofas on the the  terrace seem to be everyone's preferred seating.

AMPM is  synonymous with its gorgeous milkshakes and I took my kiddos along for their verdict. As expected they loved it. The Magnum upside down with a real magnum ice-cream, the Belgium affair with marshmallows, the Ferrero Rocher version  with a donut or the Gummy bear and candyfloss (I love this one) - every flavor was a winner and hugely satiating.

For those hard-pressed for time and wanting  a quick meal the Dal makhani or Butter chicken shots with garlic naan are the perfect answers. I tried the  Indian Tapas veg platter which comprises of 4 different starters and is served with a naan, the perfect snack on a night out with friends. What becomes of a big fat samosa when crumbled and topped with curd, sweet chutney and some pomegranate seeds? Simply irresistible! And here this goes by the name of Samosa Crumble. There's no denying that the real McCoy at this cafe is the Monster Burger and  should feature on your must try list. On my last visit to AmPm we ordered  this dude and realized it was insanely huge. It is impossible to devour this one completely- with 2 lamb patties, and loads of cheese this 1kg delight is gluttonous indulgence.

Nutella cappucino seemed like the prefect drink to wash down all that food - I abstained from watching my calorie intake that day.Yes this new addition to the menu  is nutty, chocolaty and delicious. Word of caution - This place is generally jam packed so reserve your tables in advance.
