Monsoon Menu at Le Meridien Gurgaon

                                 

One of the things I craved for on my recent vacation was the humble Samosa and there ain’t nothing more pleasurable than sitting by the window on a rainy day and having  this potato filled fried indulgence with some hot piping Chai. This is exactly what I did at Latest recipe . To my delight it’s not just the samosa but everything associated with monsoon and Tea that comprises their monsoon menu.

What’s a cup of tea without dunking some Khari in it, and the ones showcased here are extremely flaky. Competing for attention are also Mathris and rusks made in house. To satiate stronger hunger pangs the Bun Tikki comes to rescue, a deep fried potato patty sandwiched between two buns this one beats those videsi burgers anyday with its robust flavour. Chai pakora lovers, fret not – the crunchy Onion Bhajias will blow your mind away.

There’s more , especially for Meetha lovers like me – desserts . Those Kaju rolls are delectable but the Shahi Tukda is what impressed me as I rarely come across one that is well made.  The monsoon is more than watching the pitter patter of raindrops on window panes- it’s reminiscing the beauty of past and being grateful for the present, the delicacies on the menu strongly help in this soul indulgence.
